Crane Tech – We are looking at two different profiles:
1) Crane Tech Apprentice: Responsibilities include assisting with various assigned duties. Must have experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics (heavy equipment industry is preferred).
Job Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience as mechanic
- Must have related experience with electrical and hydraulics
- Must be proactive
- Must have a clean background and demonstrate safe work habits
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
- Possession of a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills are required
- Training/Certifications is required
- Familiarity with construction/heavy equipment a plus
- Willingness to travel by land and air

2) Experienced Crane Tech – Will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of various mobile cranes. Must have experience as a mechanic with electrical and hydraulics.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician
- Operates and inspects cranes in order to diagnose defects
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, LMI Systems, Hydraulic Suspensions, Electrical Systems.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear
- Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
- Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
- Perform thorough inspections
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
- Properly fills out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews and expense reports
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant driving experience
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to travel by land and air
Preferred Qualifications:
- History of working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically RTs, All Terrains and Truck Cranes.
- Sets a positive example in punctuality and professional demeanor by respectful communication with all levels of staff, keeping work areas/Field Service Trucks clean & orderly plus promoting safety regulations and all other company programs
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Manufacture approved training/certifications preferred but not required
