1) Crane Tech Apprentice – For work to be conducted in Houston, Texas.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience with heavy equipment
- Must have related experience with electrical and hydraulics
- Must be proactive
- Must have a clean background and demonstrate safe work habits
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
- Possession of a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills are required
Duties Include:
- Assisting the mechanics and technicians with various assigned duties.
- Performing basic maintenance and repairs on cranes and equipment.
2) Crane Service Engineer – For work to be conducted in Houston, Texas.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years of experience
- Bachelors in mechanical engineer or equivalent
Duties include:
- Evaluate, install, operate, and repair telescopic mobile cranes and heavy equipment.
- Responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of various mobile cranes.
- Perform modifications in hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose hydraulic and electromechanical defects and modify machinery with conformance with design and performance specifications.
- Investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions.
- Ensure that machines are functioning according to specifications Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
- Test mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation.
- Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
- Provide technical customer service.
- This position requires knowledge and experience with Hydraulic Suspensions, Electrical Systems, Grove and Manitowoc Cranes.
